As a website design company, the most important thing is the company's own website. We are a small web design company making effort to improve our current website. We are already in the process of designing and building a new website and of course we've thought about many elements to add or change. I would really love some advice on our portfolio section, any idea will do. Just want some different opinions, can be as simple as what the website makes you feel or what you think is working or not. Some clicks on portfolio images lead to pages like here or here. I guess a better approach would be integrating inline popup scripts like prettyPhoto or highslide or even thickbox. Other than that, the site looks clean and easy to browse through.
thanks for the advice, I'm thinking about the exact same thing, it will happen for sure on the new site, the only thing I'm not quite sure about is the speed, I've checked a lot of portfolio sites and most of them are slower to open when using scripts like that, just a little concerned, I've also seen a lot of people showing all portfolio on one page, so scroll and scroll which doesn't seem very professional. anyways, scripts will be incorporated and once the new site is up I will definitely post it here, and the comparison images as well.
