I'm sorry if this has been covered here before, I didn't even know enough to know what to search for! What I want to do is add my ezine archives (in PDF) to my WordPress site (link is in my signature). I really don't want the archives to show up in the navigation on the left, but I would like there to be a link such as "Ezine Archives" or something like that. Would the best way to do this be to create a page and call it Ezine Archives, then just put a link to each PDF file on that page? Or is there a better way to do this? Thank you for your help! I'm learning WP but not fast enough to suit me.
Hi there, You could just create a category called "Ezine Articles" and everytime you post one of your articles just put it in that category. I have the "Guest Blogger" plug-in for my blog (a self-hosted Wordpress ) and everytime there is a post it automatically goes in the appropriate category .
What I want really isn't a post, I don't think. Since the ezines are in PDF, a post won't work, or will it? Am I missing something?
To the best of my knowledge I don't think you can have an actual pdf as a post. I think you should just copy some of it into the post and if someone wants to read the rest of it they have to subscribe via email (just an idea)?
With my limited English LOL..here is what i understand, you want to create a page called "Ezine Archive" and then you link to each PDF files? If yes, you can upload those PDF files to your servers by using "upload" in the media tab, and then link them one by on using hyperlink when you create content on that page. Hope you understand since my English is bad lol..
Well, you did great with the English, Kimi! And that makes perfect sense. It was too easy for me to see. ) Thank you!
