Do you mean a static front page or static altogether? Even just a side blog not on the front page that gets updated once every 2 weeks would help SEO Other than that the basics. Good header tags, bolding keywords (and italics), LSI keywords, alt tags on images, proper meta tagging then offpage stuff like article backlinking, links from suitable blogs and sites, directory submission (to a degree) - making sure they all have anchor text etc, etc
Actually I developing this website for online ticket booking process. So, that's why I have little hesitation about the optimization. So, please let me know how I will optimize that. Already I chose some keywords. I need some other tips and techniques.
Writing a blog is definitely a good idea. Another one: since your site is pretty small you should focus on long tail keywords, like "cheap bus tickets from Bangalore to Adhiramapattinam" and "cheap bus tickets from Bangalore", "cheap bus tickets to Bangalore". You might have much better chances. For each connection you should create a separate page. Also the title of your main page is not the best: "Welcome to theBus.in..: thebus.in"; what is your main keyword? You should include it here. I am doing SEO audits so PM me if you are interested (it's not free but almost ;-) ).
You optimize a static site, exactly the same way you optimize a dynamic one: You work on page titles, keywords, content, links and so on. Search engines don't know whether your site is static or dynamic, they only see your content.
SEO will help to optimized static website...So go with on-page & off-page optimization work for your website
