Hello To All Webmaster Here ... I just started my blog http://bearockr.blogspot.com just about 1.5 months ago... and its going on quite well .... i have advertised it by forum postings, and twitter ... Please suggest me some really better ways Of advertising to get like over atleast a 100 visitors/readers per day ... i m right now getting like 40 people per day ... and its alexa rank is about 16 lac ... also ,, I would like to know how much this blog would be worth now ( if any) , ... because due to much lack of time , i will have to close it ... and so, would it be of any good use to sell it ??
and also, would it be sensible to continue blogging at this moment if my blog has some good potential to do some big business ! ?
Try exchanging links with relevant blogs. Posting in Q&A sites such as Yahoo Answers and Wikianswers can also boost your blog traffic.
ok ... i'll do what u said ... thanks very much ... but if i create a banner,, how should it look like ... i mean are animated banners or a 'still' banner better ??
bookmark them and advertise in popular communities and yahoo answers. I am sure you will get huge traffic.
As to the problem whether you will see it or not,I think you'd better think it over carefully.If you have confidence to develop it more and more popular,it's not wise for you to see it now.So it depends on you.In order to get more visitors,myabe you can also try to purchase links if you can afford it.Afer all,paid way will take into effect soon.In a word,it's not that easy for you to make it in short time,so please be more patient.

There are in fact many different tactics for promoting your blog. Forum postings and twitter is a decent start but you can do a lot more to increase the traffic: 1. Change some of your articles on your blog and submit them to ezinearticles.com and other article sites. 2. Create hubpages and similar high traffic accounts using some of your content (change it a little of course) - this is a good source of quality backlinks, and Google loves these sites so your content and links will appear in the SEs 3. tuksdrr has some good advice. Looking at your content you ought to be able to author some pretty good articles with links back to your blog and submit them to article directories. You might want to add a few affiliate links in your blog content. Clickbank has things like Jamorama Learn Guitar, Guitar Super Stars, etc that you could add.
Twitter is also good as yahoo answers but you have to put a little effort to increase followers. It won't eat much time as its is micro blogging, but continuity is a must.
webdev007 is right about twitter. I get a good amount of traffic from it. I have about 1700 followers but on occasion one of my followers that has a big list will retweet me and my traffic jumps. I have had days that twitter has sent more traffic than Google organic search. According to Google Analytics any way. It all depends if you take the time to interact with people. If your not talking to people and just posting your tweets like a one way conversation don't expect much.

But thanks a lot for giving your valuable tips ... @John Collins -- I Have just about 190 followers on twitter and myself follow around 900 people ... but still i dont get much traffic from twitter .... and do i have to have private talks there with all my followers ??? i mean ... you have 1700 followers ... then how do u manage to talk 2 em all ???
