Need sites listed in my new directory so list it for free

I started a directory site about a month ago and have not had much time to put any real work into it so far but am planning on spending some time to get it well marketed now.

Like most directories I prefer to have reciprocal links back to the site however as a promotional boost to help the site out for the next four days I will accept listings with no back links!! (unless you wish to do so, then I won't mind ).

So if you have a good site and would like it listed on Linktomysite.net then submit your site and I will check your site out and list it if (I refuse the right to not list a site) I think that is a good match for the site.

Nobody has mentioned the fact that the links you're giving have redirects on them and therefore have no SEO value.

That implies that your directory is of value for the traffic it will generate. Yet you state in your opening post that you've neglected the directory so you won't be driving traffic through it.

If you ditch the redirects using techniques outlined below you may have more luck getting submissions.

Redirects have no place in a Directory

Fellow readers I need to end this thread - apparently I used the wrong category - Sorry Moderators!

Also it seems that I got ripped off when I bought this directory due to it not having any SEO value, I will have to read up on that stuff and watch out for those scams if I buy any more sites.
