Hey guys, I need help and hope someone can give it to me. Short backstory: My girlfriend was selling iphone unklocks on her Ebay account a few months ago, but as she had a new account, Ebay imposed selling limits on her. Also, Paypal was holding funds on her for 21 days, and she didnt want to wait. She asked me if she could sell on my account, which I had since 2003, powerseller and top rated seller on Ebay, 100%, good DSR, etc.. I said ok (LIKE A DUMBASS) Well, now she got me into serious hot water. She sold a bunch of unlocks made shitload of money, like $3 to $4K.. I withdrew some money for her to buy xmas gifts, etc... But now, none of these buyers phones have been unlocked.. I am getting paypal cases daily, for Item Not Received. Now the money in the paypal account is dwindling and I am seriously conerned. Add to that i have negs out the wazoo on ebay, and my Powerseller and Top Rated seller status is in serious jeapordy. I was thinking of just calling Ebay/Paypal and telling them my account got hacked, that I was away for awhile and that someone must have used my account to sell these unoocks for a quick buck.. will they believe me? I have never sold anything like unlocks on my Ebay account before, I have always sold physical items through the mail.. What should I do? I hope someone can help
Not a good idea to give paypal a false story. It is better to sort the matter out with your girlfriend and have her transfer money to your account to repay the customers who have filed cases.
