Need Serious Help- Starting with Mortgage on Adwords

I am telling u from the scratch:
Started the Campaign on Mar 31, 2006.
I have 27 Ad groups in it.
Clicks Impressions CTR Avg Position Conversion Rate
364 162,587 0.22% 44.1 0.28%
Just a single conversion. Now the campaign is paused from many days.

 

Then I would suggest that you change the "Ad text" though I think you must have experimented already but - from CTR it looks like your ads are not having any impact on the user i.e not attracting his/her attention.

u mite be getting less clicks because of price factor, bids should be higher , also which country you are targeting that is of prime importance
try to test with more keywords related to home business.
also try ads with particular websites related to home business which have google ads option, mite be more benificial.

Yeah Positions are low. I bidded the kwds high then even..no +ve result.
I am working for US Market.
My Kwds are primarily related to home business.
One thing which really annoys me os that i have been relying 90% on
Google Suggest and Adwords Kwd tool. This has been same for all of
the projects handled by me and i have got some or what same results.

What else strategy can i follow to choose kwds?

I would do the following:
1. use a large amount of ad texts and measure their performance.
2. use analytics tools to find your "long tail". By finding the entire list of uncommon search terms that people use to click on your sites, they can be added and then your bids can be lower for them as you have a more specific search term then your competitors.

Does this make sense?
