I am struggling with determining the best keywords/meta tags to use for the two sites in my sig file. I've run them through keyword analysis and weight tests, but due to the nature of the posts, the results don't tend to make much sense. Other than the straight titles and the URL titles, under what search terms would you expect to find my sites? If using a search engine, what terms would you want to find my sites under if you never heard of them? Thanks as always for your help with this!
specify whos the one who did/didn't do that thing... then categorize your tasks... for example, your tasks in your house, in office, online, etc...
I must be really dumb, but I don't see how this advise would apply to my sites at all. To me, it would be like advising to keyword a site on TV stars based on astronomical terms. I acknowledge I don't get this, which is why I started the thread. But just because relationships is currently a big theme on one of them doesn't seem to mean that people searching for the term "relationships" online would be looking to find that site.
Just by looking at the names of the sites I am thinking of: diary, journal, good things, bad things. Hope this helps.
I agree - I hadn't thought of the good/bad things concept. I will have to look into that. Is there a way to see what terms people use to search for sites similar to yours in theme? That might be an easier way to approach this since it's easier for me to identify the "if you like site x, you will like my site y" scenarios. Any other ideas/suggestions out there?
