    Hi,
I am doing SEO for a online store. I am trying to place google analytic in the wordpress site by using yoast plugin in a sub domain but for some reason the data is not showing up.

Here is the fields of the plugin.

Well, if the plugin is not working you can also do it manually.
here are the steps to manually add the analytics code.
    1) login to your wordpress panel.
2)Go to editor option in appearance sub-menu
    3) find </body> tag in index.php
    4) Copy and paste the analytics code before </body> tag.
    5) update the index.php and its done.
    hope that helps,

    rakesh

go to google analytics and signup over there. it will generate the analytics code and you have to insert it into the web-page to get the information about the traffic on the website.
