    Hi All,

I am responsible for all marketing channels of a new, natural whole grain product. I am relatively new to Ecommerce, but our product is realizing a lot of offline success (see: #2 selling whole food in Canada, just accepted into Whole Foods Marker, Vitamin Shoppe, written up in this month's issue of Men's Health).

Our flagship website is http://www.salba.com/ (but there are several more in development).

We want to attract people who are interested in natural, premium whole grains.

I have a funamental knowledge of SEO, but I am not a true SEO. I have no idea of what we have done correctly and what we are missing out on. I dabbled in trying to get inbound links, but realized quickly that I haven't a clue what I'm doing.

We have a PPC list which was not given thorough consideration, but which is pretty developed with respect to broad terms...we haven't developed it to the outer reaches of long-tail, but this is something we would like to do.

Can somebody help a beginner get things rolling? I guess I really need an SEO 101 lesson. Hopefully, this won't just be beneficial for me, but for any newcomer to the SEO world.

    Thanks in advance!

The footer links with different anchor text pointing to the homepage is very spammy and is not recommended. What I would suggest is creating separate pages for these keywords, and you can still link to these pages in the footer.
