Need sales advice for client site

This is the second generation design for a local electrician company.
    - unfortunately all of the content was client driven
    - the first site was very clean, very high end, and frankly, too well designed. Once I junked it up, used some real but fairly bad photography, the bounce rate dropped 30%

We now have about 700 unique visitors a month, but so far no sales from organic search.

Does anyone have any sage thoughts on the Sales and Marketing aspect of the site?

    - I personally believe coupons on the home page come across as bait-and-switch
    - I think the design is STILL too high end and not "local" enough. For example, www.aceelectrical.com is their main competition. The site is pretty ugly, but they are killing it on sales.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Ummmmm... Well... Sure.
While I appreciate your comment, that's not really that helpful. I imagine every member of this forum is, in some way, looking to increase pr.

If you have any specific feedback around marketing/sales aspect of the site I would be very appreciative.
