Need review of new image on site

I just made a new center image for my site. I don't know if it looks okay or not, since I am so used to looking at my old site which had text on white background.

It is the "Beat the Holiday Rush" section at http://www.drhfinegifts.com.

Any thoughts? Does the color look right?

 

looks good. but i dont like the HUGE bottom list.

 

Good point! I guess it isn't really necessary since I have the names in the <alt img> tag.

I am going to remove it.

 

looks alright....might want to brighten it up a bit more.

 

It's quite good for me. Maybe removing pointers from menu will increase visibility of options.
