To be honest, I want to help my friends website He is a designer and new to marketing, SEO but he is good with design He got his first ecommerce website done with design and codes now his boss wanted to gain traffic and do SEO with it Please review http://bit.ly/hQBYB5 any help will do, the things he wanted to apply: increase traffic simple SEO where to add specific places good for ads
You should do something with that big blank space after the products list. I like that zoom facility you have for the items. Overall, you can do some more design implementations.
For traffic, you can ask your friend's boss to advertise on selected high traffic relevant blogs or websites using Buysellads.com Other than that, use rankpay.com to get their site on first page of Google for some highly targeted keyword (high average monthly volume), use Google Adwords Keyword External tool to find these keyword phrases. Basically, that all you need to get traffic and SEO done as he already have SEO friendly permalink URL structure there.
Product descriptions are good and also you can zoom in..fantastic..I'm not too crazy about the font for the top navigation panel, maybe a different font will make a difference..but overall good design..
The site looks pretty good and extensive. My main suggestion for improvement is about the "About Us" page. It looks like you're b.s.ing a little bit. When I visit an About Us page, I want to glance at it briefly and see: Business name and address Founder and owner names What distinguishes you from other online retailers I see some history of your company on the about us page, and I think this is good. But it's not the most important info. Basically, if I don't see a business name, physical location, and founder name, I'm highly likely to just close the site and never come back. These things are really important to establishing legitimacy. If you want to get even better, show a face! The more personal you make it, the better. Good luck!
Does anyone else get the strange popup containing oriental writing and an 'ok' checkbox? It's a little distracting and unnerving.
I didn't see that but I have a popup blocker turned on. I found find that unnerving and distracting too.
I think some textures could be added to make this site a bit more fun, also, at some point, the blank space makes it boring.
good shopping website, feel professional, ProductMinImg only appear top part, the bottom part can't appear normally.
