It happened so that my current host started to make me nervous because of bad customer support and downtime. Most of my clients are located in EU, Germany. I need stable server with 450 gbs of space, 4 gbs of RAM and 5000 gbs of bandwidth, Windows. Any recommendations please? Thanks in advance.
Vast majority of hosting providers are in fact resellers. A reseller is just a middleman between you and the real hosting company. Since resellers depend on the company whose plans they resell, they very often don't have neither freedom nor responsibility for dealing with your problems.Your requests and problems are dealt within the extended period of time. The result is that you pay more for the services you get and you're dealing with the "wrong" person all along the way.
Does the provider offer a free trial? Almost every provider offers at least a 30-day trial, but some offer longer terms – keep your eyes and ears open and take advantage of the no-commitment period to test every facet of the service.
Dedicated Servers are not offered with trial. But today lots of hosts are offering nice discounted deals so it can be cheap to try.
I always look for a few things: 1. Reliability 2. Support/Knowledge 3. Price As the others have said, you get what you pay for really.
When I found mainahosting.com, I was excited to see there was online, live support. I have already recommended this reliable host to one of my friends.
