So DreamHost just terminated my account for "distributing copyrighted content". It was an anime links site that didn't host any content, but instead linked to stuff like megaupload and veoh. Can anyone recommend a host that's tolerant toward these kinds of sites?

On US servers you can still get shut down for linking.. most data centers will tell you linking is ok but the min that they get a complaint you must take it down.. The copy right laws for linking is a gray area. I was told by my data center that we can link but it must not link to a USA sever, so just be careful.
you can try www.goviphosting.com they are very client friendly and will never terminate your account out of no where. Im hosting some of my sites with them and im really happy. highly recommended
