we are handling a site named cpcindia.in ... on 24th april 2012 it was hit by google penguin... till now we are unable to recover, we have done few experiments but still not getting good result... is there anybody can suggest logical tips for recovery...?
i think you aren't hit by google penguin update.., your website is still ranking into top for search queries "capital pest control" like wise.., but there is some duplicate content issue with your website.., 1. Re-write content of the website uniquely 2. Build some quality links 3. In source you are providing Author as Webrextech, so google thinks that the ownership as webrextech..., so it gives more important to webrextech rather than cpcindia.in.., hope this info helps you out..,
Agreed with sameer. Continue to hammer out quality, relevant content and find useful links. Look at your competitors in both categories to see what they are doing as well.
The best way to learn how to actually do SEO is to test all the theories you can find out there. Learning what works and what doesn't on your own is a great experience. That is how you become a good SEO!
thank you sameer_max... we have done a lot of experiments for recovery... and the content u r saying about is actually original for this site... others have copied from here only... we also messaged google from webmaster to de-index other website coz they have copied our content... i will remove the webrextech for sure... we are also experimenting by changing content one by one url... wat more u can suggest?
I am always telling this... Just follow the organic white hat seo it will help you to gain after changes of penguin or panda any thing...!!!
below are the things which i found to be improved 1. most of the seo elements are doing gud.., you missed out meta details like description, header tags. 2. Internal Linking is poor. 3. No social presence hope this helps you out!
Well the Penguin update is targeting low quality content and mostly the things that appear as spam to it. It can be content or links. If you are hit by the Penguin update do yourself some evaluation of your site. 1. Find out the content which you think is very weak, or is useless to the audience and remove it. 2. Find out the pages which are very old now and of no importance now. Remove them too. 3. If you are involved in low quality/ spam link exchanges or link networks. Its time to get rid of the links that might be causing you trouble. once it was in blocklist, you need to revamp your site. stop link building because it was useless. Better work on revamping your site.
