    Something that can be easily scaled as the traffic increases.

    Agreed that most hosts can offer what you need. But if you want to test their knowledge, then email or contact them from their website and ask if they support it. This will test knowledge and response time. You looking for VPS or Dedicated server? Managed or Unmanaged?
