Hey, so I just got a inquiry from a large T.V. network about advertising a new t.v. show they are coming out with on my site. For the niche I'm in which is exactly what the T.V. show is about my site's pretty much the top, though the site itself isn't that huge; it gets about 40000-60000 pageviews a month.

I need to know what type of prices I am looking at for this. For a site my size I know text links are around $3-$10/month. They're looking to put of big flyers on the homepage and I know they have deep pockets, though I'm not sure if that should matter.

I randomly came up with the number of $50/month. Does anyone else have any suggestions if this is anywhere near close, or do you think they'll want a different payment structure? I'm all ears, though I need some info quick :)

    lol...

    yeah i do..or so i think

if you are getting around 50k pageviews consistently leverage on that...
sell banner space instead of text link to the advertiser.. considering it is for a tv show banners should help them better than text links...

now to the question of pricing... if it is possible for you.. sell on a cpm basis... say $3-5 or maybe even stretch it to $10 (some very popular forums sell at that rate..) per 1000 impressions, If you sell your entire 50k pageviews then you would be pocketing a cool $150 at the least.. and if they buy only around 20k views/impressions.. you can use the left over impressions to sell to some other advertiser.. the chances of a higher payout is better this way in my opinion... hope this helps...
