I'm looking for a proofreader for a 70-something page ebook (the ebook contains photos and tables, which don't need proofreading, so the page count is a bit misleading). I need somebody who's a native speaker (for obvious reasons), American English. The ebook consists of a series of interviews with professionals. All the professionals are native speakers, so there aren't any major mistakes in the writing. What I'm looking for is somebody who will go over the ebook and catch typos, missing capital letters, etc. I don't want anything to be rewritten, since these are interviews and should not be changed. This should be very simple and quick work. I could do it myself, but I’ve looked at the pages for so long, they don’t make any sense anymore. Most professional proofreaders I know charge by the word or page, which is fine when you have something that needs major improvement. Again, this is nothing like that. I'm looking for somebody who will charge a flat fee for the whole ebook. I had a sample page done by a professional proofreader. I would like to send that same page to everybody who applies and have them proofread it so I can see how much you're able to catch compared to the original proofreading.
