Had been working on these before the edits came in POST#37 ...so Forgive me if it appears I didn't make the edits....Working on those edits now, However Sure you really don't like the all green, and i am referring to this one:



just for other looks


And I think there were a request to create a STATE of Michigan Silhouette icon? cool, I have some so I will give that a shot

I wasn't sure which font style had driven any interest, I am making some edits to that icon, I want the outer chevrons a little tighter and giving more spin and swish there a bit to fat, and yes more rotation - but those were first drafts.....also when I crafted the two inner circles I didn't have the cuts, and they came later as a pun on the CC of Carpet Cleaning I have another concept that I think I should have went with at first, i still have on more concept it involve and moves away from what most have been doing, yet I want to give it shot and it focuses on Grand Rapids the actual city, hopefully it will make it in

 

dbdesign: I like your concept a lot. If I pick your as best, will you refine it for me? I dont want you to wast any more time if something better is entered.

I would like to see is Grand Rapids pulled a part a bit on this concept, and a dark water blue where the green is, with either white, green or red text for carpet cleaning.

gamelord The back ground is looking nice, the Font of the GR is off and would not be used.

Okay, first draft on the state logo, still have not edited the chevrons but gave them a rotation kept the GR still working out the kinks, feedback appreciated, thanks

The image on the van is cool, what a sales person!

I really do like the state icon best !

I have to let it set in, if you have any edits you think might be in the works, go for it.

The Red white and Blue on the van looks great.

I live in a city named Grand Rapids, named after the Grand River.
I have seen alot entries with the name split with the colors red and blue. The name Grand Rapids (split color) does not look right to me.
The Icon is nice, but I have taking a liken to the image of the State of Michigan Incorporated in the logo, Use a image of the state.

DP members have done good work, thanks.

einstine: Icon looks nice-The orange maybe should be red, GrandRapids should have a space between D and R.
Can I see maybe something like a river running off the state icon with Carpet Cleaning in it or something like bubbles around the state?
Grand Rapids is a bit dark and shaded unevenly.
