Need Professional E-commerce site. To use OsCommerce / Yahoo Stores, etc?

What do you folks recommend for a professional E-Commerce site. Selling high end items, 300$-$10,000 items. I've done some research, and I found a lot of people praising Yahoo Stores... But it seems like I'll have to pay a developer 3,000 or so to make the design. I have $5,000 or so to invest on design / site features. What do you folks recommend? Go with Yahoo Stores? OsCommerce? Or something else?

Jewelery. I Have access to millions of dollars worth of inventory. Friends and family are Jewelers and I've been presented with a lucrative partnership.

I would go with an eBay store instead of Yahoo! and Ecommerce site. However, I have no experience in Yahoo! Stores and Ecommerce websites.

The best option would be where you get the most traffic and potential customers. If you have ways to direct traffic to your "store", then any of those should be fine. Are you going to do dropshipping?

No way i'd go with Ebay. Their fees are horrendous. No drop shipping. I have all the merchandise.
