Hi everyone, I'm relatively new here, and could really use some of your great help. I have been playing around with a really ROUGH draft of a new site I want to get going. I want the site to have a strong Disney theme, and can't decide what type of a format to use - should I have a regular html website designed, a WordPress template designed, or use some type of CMS and have that customized. The site will be heavily focused on showcasing the best Disney resources available on the web, but will also have some useful articles. Right now, I am thinking of having a contest for a design (including header and logo and nixing the Google Ads at the top), and then having someone code the design through the same contest, but paying two different people. I read in the contest section that designers are not necessarily coders, and coders are not necessarily designers. I guess I don't want to sink a bunch into it because it is a hobby website, but want it to look nice when promoting it through articles and such. The site is http://www.MickeySites.com and I could use all the help I can get Thanks SO MUCH for your help!
If it were me, I would use Wordpress. Easy to install and use, hundreds if not thousands of free templates you can alter to your liking. I have a few Disney sites, would be great if you could add them in. Just PM me once you are ready. Also, are you looking for a sponsor? Let me know, I am interested.
