There is no such script available in PHP to AFAIK . There is one efficient tool though (i haven't used it personally) . Check it you : auuction http://auctionautobidder.com . It's not free though and i doubt there are free tools that do this .

Let me know if you find one .

I'm willing to pay for someone to write one. I'm not sure how that will allow me to automate the buying process. I do see how it can help someone who is looking to snipe bids. I will keep you posted.

This does seem to be possible, there are API functions in eBay to auto-buy things. I can't post a live link yet, but if you search for: "Getting Started with a PHP Bidding/Buying Application" on Google (with quotes), you will see the page that has the documentation for this.

I am a PHP developer. Please PM me if you are still looking for someone to code this for you.

The desk of developing a fully functional robot (with all the security and user friendly features) is a bit daunting AFAIK. The API allows it but you need time and goodproven coder and there aren't a lot of them that can do this (although a assload of them will say they can) .

If you're building this script to resell it then be prepared to invest 4 to 8 weeks and a good deal of cash from start to finish , but if you want this just for yourself use a tried and tested solution . Believe me it will far more easy .

Yes, this is certainly daunting, and indeed you need a proven coder. Do make sure you look at the experience and resume of the coder you hire, huste.

I was working on a similar script and abandoned it midway due to the workload. The only way I'd continue where I left off is if someone was paying me no less than $1000 USD per week. I aim for perfectionism, so if my time is limited its better that I quit the project all together.
This is a script that will be made for use in a highly profitable e-commerce market and gives the user a better advantage. I don't see why one should cringe when having to dish out the amount of scrilla necessary to get it done. Maybe one day when I'm not busy I'll take up where I left off :)
