Need PERL Solution For RSS Feed As A File For SSI

    I have a web site on a legacy web host that I hang on to mostly for nostalgia, but I would like to include RSS feeds on the home page by calling an file with server side includes. So, does anyone know how I can do this, either by having a PERL script that formats a stream that can be addressed by the SSI directly, or by periodically creating and saving a file that is then called by the SSI? I've mucked about on CPAN and Google looking for my own answer, and it doesn't seem to be forthcoming.
