    Hi All!

    I'm currently trying to decide which course of action I should take w/ regards to my SEO/SEM.

    Option 1: $1000/mo
    This is basically where the company sets up link bait and links to your site from high PR sites - they say 30 days I would see good results and in 60 would be great!

    Pros:
    * Fast results
    * Onpage SEO included

    Cons:
    * I'm held hostage with the links - once I stop paying, the links go byebye.

    Option 2: $1000/mo
    This is a traditional SEO @ $75/hr + PPC campaign @ ~$50/hr. He said I would start to see results in 4-6mo.

    I'm not sure the breakdown, maybe $600 for tradional SEO + $400 for PPC. He said the keywords would cost ~$6-$7 per click.

    Pros:
    * Whatever links I get are mine

    Cons:
    * Time - this will take a lot longer to see results
    * Onpage SEO not _not_ included (additional $500)

    Note: he says he offers a similar service to Option 1 for a lot more cash - ~$1750ish

    Both of these members are very highly respected members of another forum - so I trust them thru proxy I guess...

    What would you guys do? I'm thinking about doing option 1 for a trial period of 2mo, but the idea of the links getting deleted once I stop paying is somewhat unsettling.

    I just don't know which path I should go down.

    I did see an example of the link bait from option 1, and the guy is right, there were tons of links to the client's site with pretty high PR ratings, and several pages had links to them. I think most of these get setup on expired domains - not sure though.

    Anyway, I'm just looking for input... I can't be the only one who has run into this type of cross roads.

    Any insight would be great appreciated...

    Thanks!
