Need opinions and proposals for my website header :O

Hi Pointers,

I have a website, it has a header... Simple stuff yeah? However... The header is a bit blank and could do with more pzzahh! What do you think i could add?

Also I'm not sure about the logo, what do you all think?

it is a good logo, but hammer is usually black, not blue.

 

I think it if were black, it might look dull. I'll change it and see.

The hammer is too big! That was the first thing I noticed, which isn't good - it's better to make the name stand out more.

 

I'm not sure I would have been able to identify the hammer without knowing it's a hammer. I can make out the prongs in back and the head of the hammer...but the main portion of it looks like big blob.

 

I like the color scheme and look I just think the hammer is to big! Make the letter bigger or the hammer smaller so they work with each other

why don't you save some space for the ad.

 

It's like, a mix between a hammer, a mallet and a projector. I think i'm going to have a fresh background involved with the hammer, and the text. A background that hints to films, and then i shall have a context each month for a person that guesses the films that it hints to

 

kinda good, maybe simplify it? looks like a duck?

I think it's definitely got potential though dude Very web 2.0 maybe checkout creattica.com they have some awesome examples of simple but effective logos.
