Hello, First thing that I need for sure and need to be quoted separately is shopping cart + CMS. Magento is great shopping cart but it's CMS is nothing. At the moment the site runs in MODx and it's great from CMS point of view - separate areas of the website are easily editable with WYSIWYG editor with template variables but it doesn't have good shopping cart. Then there is Joomla+Virtuemart which will be choice if don't find better solution but magento has better functionality. Need good order management that will have some bookkeeping facilities. Please, suggest something and quote the price for integrating existing design amaru.com with cms-shopping cart where separate areas are editable - eg ´. the orange area, left bottom area, right bottom area etc. Thanks, Kaspar PS. Ask questions here not PM so everybody see answers.
Joomla + Virtuemart would be my favorite choice since you'll need both and works amazingly. I have over 4 years of experience with JOOMLA, my portfolio which is available at www.jorgelinares.com was built with joomla as well as many other projects I've completed. My price to integrate current website design with Joomla and Virtuemart, installed and setup the website completely ready is $485.00 Quality work guaranteed! No total upfront payment required, only small deposit required to commence work, balance due completion and satisfaction of final project. I look forward to hearing from you, Thank You!
openxconsultant: osCommerce seems nicer than Magento but their admin area demo is not working so I can't give a test drive Jorge05r: Sorry, Virtuemart doesn't have advanced reporting like magento does and didn't also find up-selling and cross-selling functionality and prices per user groups and tier-pricing. himtuna: drupal sounds interesting but don't know anything about Übercart and they also don't have admin area demo at their site to give test drive I was thinking meanwhile to still maybe use Magento as great ecommerce solution but install also any kind of php file manager with WYSIWYG editor so you can edit static areas of the template with that. Maybe TinyMCE - have to have a look.
Another thing I found is Drupal ecommerce but again can't see full list of functionality and can't test drive. I decided to give up with Magento as it's too slow in my VM with 150MB. Also osCommerce seems not the best solution: http://blog.james-carr.org/2008/11/30/oscommerce-a-lesson-in-unmaintainable-code/ I'm totally in a mess now...
I don't think Joomla is the best CMS for this. It is usually full of security bugs and advisories that at the end could end you have your project in jeopardy. Just my 2 cents.
I know! I don't like Joomla. I like MODx and Drupal is reasonable, too. I don't like osCommerce and I don't know much about Virtuemart - I'm afraid not enough functional. I love Magento but it's bit too slow I don't know much about other solutions...
I was suggested X-cart by someone. Need to check... Should be with this topic in somewhere else already
Hi everybody. Seems that still osCommerce so please quote for adding this template to osCommerce: http://osc3.template-help.com/osc_21869/index.php Logo must be created also with reflection like on template but otherwise 100% different and the layout must be made wider so that three products will fit the middle area.
hi me only already suggested Os commerce. i will do this for you. i have many experience in OScommerce.
