Do one thing first of all check the meta tags for your site ,homepage and other pages if any.they must be relevant also keep updating the content on the various pages and it should be relevant to your website's niche. you will see a definite change on your ranking
Get theme related Title and keywords in meta tags and make sure they do have good searches. Also, avoid duplicate title for separate pages. Keep the content up to date to make a good impression on the visitors.

What do you mean by no search results? Do you mean that it does not come up with focused keywords? I will recommend you to do strong link building for it. If you think there are some onsite optimization issues, plesae fix them up with proper keyword research. Please find following: Find three types of keywords, Long Tail, Short Tail, Medium tail. One of such type of keywords should be with low competition and high search volume. Then focus that low competition keyword to get rank and use strong link building for it.
