Hello all DP members I am studying in college and making my final year project as one online SMS and email Application through which the site admin can send news through SMS and email. so all student get news instantly. I am making this website in ASP.net and i need to buy sms server on rent. but i don't know any good site who is selling sms server for INDIA there are too many sites which provide the service to send free sms to india eg:- sms7 . in , smsgupshup . com, 160by2 . com and many more but i have no idea from where they get sms server so please any one here who can help me on this topic. give me some address of good sms server provider. If you want your own SMS server you have to buy a dedicated server and configure it as SMS server or you can take small packages from some SMS server which are selling SMS packages.
I don't think you can send Free SMS to India as SMS termination to GSM provider requires some fee. Maybe talk to your school and see whether they provide any SMS gateway.
I don't want it free i am ready to pay for it but where to buy it i don't know? and what to buy SMS server? or gateway? or GSM modem? i want to use it in my college project which is College sms application by which all college news will send via sms to the students.

Have you tried Clickatel? It supports many countries including India. But I think the price is little higher.
