Sitemap can be useful in terms of Google crawling.. it can be good for SEO. You should upload the text file to your server, generally to the highest-level directory you want search engines to crawl. Once you've created this file, you can submit it as a Sitemap.

Jaish_D is right but I relized that xml sitemap is better, google will be back earlier crawl with your site
