Hi, I redirected my website using 301 2 years before. Now i want to make a separate website for both the domains. Just removing 301 would work or i need to do something especial for that ? Any suggestions..
You'll loss your ranking by removing 301 and that will require extra effort to bring it back to life, I think better if you create the website on a new domain name.
no need to do anything , just remove the redirection immediatly point to the current site if there exist
I agree with bobchrist. If you are intent on building a new site on the existing domain, contact the site owners who have links pointing to the original domain and ask them to update their links to your site so they point to the "new" locations.
