I have a site I want to get people to sign up for a newsletter, are their any good programs that make this easy for me, it would be nice if they just filled in a form, emails got collected, I make a newsletter and it easily gets mailed to all on the list, plus people can unsubscribe.

I'm sure there must be a load of good programs that help with this, wouldn't surprise me if they even had a program attached to it that you can actually make the newsletter in as well with it, like the whole thing is all in one.

I saw something like that ages ago, cant remember its name, I'm sure the people here are well informed of all the programs and latest methods that make things like this a breeze, any suggestions on programs to help make it happen.

Are there any at dirt cheap or free price, its for a free product that comes from me that makes money from donations.
Also I want the names and details on my computer, not on someones server or data bank, I dont want snoopers, my customers come to me in good faith.

You can try CampaignMonitor.com as they offer free set-up and only $5 and $.01 per email address per campaign. They are cheap and great. Good luck!

    constant contact isnt cheap.
CampaignMonitor.com is that 1 cent per mail. I dont want to sign up to a paid service, its quite a simple thing I want.

All I want the program to do is have an opt in and an opt out button on the web site, and a send mail button for me to send to the list, and unlimited amount of mails to send out.

So people come to the site, opt in, the program keeps track of who is on or off the list, then when its time for me to send the newsletter, I just load up my html file, and press send, thats it, not complicated at all, someone must be giving one of them out free, or its free, but if you like this stripped version (as in fancy features, my needs are simple see above, but not be limited in the number of mails to send), perhaps its free becuase you could upgrade and get the fancy paid version with stats and extra umph, hence they give out a free version.

Just found something called Pommo, Ill test this and see if it works.

I've been happy with Zookoda - free and easy.

CampaignMonitor.com & zookoda.com seems like good options for beginners. Anybody knows if they could be used to send out sequential followup emails like aweber rather than a newsletter?
