I have VPS hosting and I am satisfied with it, but i am looking to cut my costs.
I have about 50 domains - all of various types, mostly blogs, none are extremely busy, so my traffic is nothing to be concerned about for server cpu utilization.

    My requirements:
    - reputable company
    - can be shared, or whm. VPS not necessary if I can achieve the same with whm\cpanel.
    - good support (usa\canada hours for quick response)
    - full support to import my existing sites.

My specs: Disk Space 15GB or better
    Guaranteed/Burst System Memory 256MB / 2GB or better
    Network Speed 100mbit or better
Monthly Bandwidth 300 GB or closest
    Control Panel; cPanel/WHM
    Full Root Access
    24x7 Support
    Fully Managed
    No Setup Fee $0
    Monthly Price ?

    pm your price and reviews

One site that you may want to check out is this one:

    http://www.lowendbox.com/

Please note that I'm not connected with that site but visit it daily.

    Hello,
If you need full root access, you won't get that on shared or reseller. You may save a lot of money if you select shared over VPS as a vps cPanel license will come at $15/month. But a VPS will give you room to grow.

I would think you can achieve your goals with a reputable cpanel reseller unless you need the flexibility of being able to configure php to your own specification, then a vps might make sense.
