I've been applying allot of things that i have read about site marketing from DP, it has done well so far earned me $80 commission and $2 adsence earnings in one day. The affiliate pay took over 2 months but it was with little traffic.

I wanted more help on how i could get more targeted traffic to my site.

Most of my traffic is coming from reffering sites, only hitting about 40 uniques a day.

Some things i have done so far:
    • Forum posting
      Yahoo answers
Advertising on a related blog/site (submitting articles)
      Stumble upon
      Digg
Some SOE (but i need allot more work on this)

What else i can improve to my site to get better search engine rankings?
    www.rawgrip.com

What else can i do to drive more traffic.

I see that you have a youtube link and then when you click it, there is only one video in that channel, not made by you.
Maybe you could think about making your own series of videos explaining various workouts and training.

How often do you update the articles? They seem to be well written, so try and add as many as you can as often as you can.

Have you submitted your site to the major search engines?

Yes my site is indexed in all search engines besides ask.com

I will put videos up soon, couple of explaining training and others just general meat head videos.

The thing is i don't get any good traffic from search engines and i heard that its the most important thing. Any ideas on that, the only thing that i will do to fix th\t now is gett my links in anchor text all over the web , not spaming.

Getting indexed on search engines can be great but to get traffic from them, you will need SEO skills. Check out this forum to gain more knowledge on it or get yourself the SEO Book. I know people who can get thousands over uniques a day from Google alone.

I know i did allot of SOE but i am not seeing much of it or i don't know if i done it wrong. The only problem i can see is that my site is not fully w3 schools valid as i started my site of in notepad but finished it in dreamweaver and it has some bad code but i tried SOE the rest of my site.

Compliance to W3C won't affect you much as you can see many good sites with great SERPs (eg. Problogger) is not fully valid as well. You should try out keywords focusing and building your links perhaps.

Well I suggest trying Google Adword and Google webmaster tools! I'm not too sure what you're budget is but I will assume you have some money to spend on Marketing right?

Also start joining many forums with the same name! Add your siglink, get promotion form your avatar and start a blog on your site 100%

Great info but wouldn't posting links in other blog posts count as spam?

Hey All, Long time reader and have learned alot through the years. If you dont mind I would like to out my 2 cents in.

As far as the posting on other blogs. I always found it not to be so called spamming if you make comments on their sites first. For example. If you were to say something in the means like

"I just finished reading your post on your blog, and I must say I really enjoy your content and the way you word things. I have something similar that I am trying to do at (your domain) and I found some great information looking through your site. Your views and opinions are great. I will return to see your other posts."

I found if your commenting more on their content they don't look at it to much as spamming.
