Need Merchant Account (High Risk and Bad Personal Credit)

I have a US based company (probaby high risk as we sell sales leads) but my personal credit is not good. I don't want to use companies like Paypal, Moneybookers, etc, I need to actually accept Credit Cards.

Are there any Merchant Accounts that do not require a personal credit check or are very easy to qualify for?

    Thanks In Advance

If you have a registered company, working websites and have accepted credit cards before, then it isn't that hard to get a merchant account.

If the whole thing is new business / startup, it will be more complicated at least if you look outside the US borders.

What is the expected monthly turnover? And is this a new business or have you been accepting credit cards before?

    Fionix, thanks for responding.
We have been in business for 3 years and have never accepted credit cards before, only checks and wire transfers. We do have working websites.
I would say that our monthly volume would start out at $10,00 per month and increasing to $100,000+ per month as our customers start using credit cards.
99% of our business is in the US

Well as I see it, you might be better with something like 2co to start with and maybe also add paypal. Once you have growing your business to a monthly turnover of about 5 to 10k it would be better to get your own merchant account. As for now it is simply to worth the effort and expanses.

I took a look at some old documents that I kept from Cardservice (now First Data owned by KKR). I did not find sales leads as a high risk or unacepptable business type.

If you have bank documents backing up your request for a certain amount of monthly volume, chances are it will be pretty easy to get a merchant account in the United States. A lot of the providers take into consideration that people run their personal life different from their business life.

There are probably a few thousand First Data agents that you can speak with. You might also contact CDG Commerce as well.

When asked about the monthly volume, consider what you will be doing in six months and talk to the agent (or ISO / MSP) about your monthly volume increasing as you grow.

I see, that might be a problem.... maybe someone else has some suggestions or know what to do.... it will be difficult to find another solution which is free or only costs a low fee. 2co normaly take on most merchants.
