Hello guys, a friend of mine wanted me to post this for him, he has a big cat fish website, the site has been getting great search engine traffic but he wants to earn even more.

He wants ideas on how to Market a Cat Fish information site.

I want already told him the basics like forums, video (youtube) etc, but he wants even more specific ideas so he can bring more traffic to his site.

Please post your ideas, thank you very much !

I would create a viral widget that morphs some celebrity photos into catfish.

    or

Make a video of a guy in sweatpants trying to see how many catfish he could fit in them and post it on YouTube. (Although this may attract undesirables with a piscatory fetish)

Have you suggested adding an autoresponder service like Aweber, Get Response, or Email Aces?

If he is getting traffc, he should also consider collecting the names and email addresses of those visitors. Maybe this suggestion seems elementary but a lot of businesses miss this concept (hard to believe) all together.

Have him add an "opt-in" box where people can subscribe to his newsletter. Go check out Aweber. It's what I use and I'm thrilled.
