Ok I have been designing my store website for a couple of weeks in chrome and decided to look at it in IE and found out that I don't know where to even start with the css problems. I have all kinds of things messed up things with the floating divs it looks like!

No one's going to clean up your mess, there are a lot of issues here that you need to take care of. Start with something, and if you get stuck, then ask for help with a specific problem.

Of course, Chrome and Firefox are modern browsers. IE is not. Hence the problem. Unfortunately I don't have IE handy to help with right now.

Perhaps the easiest step would be
to try Chrome's own Developer Tools (Ctrl+Shift+i).
