To all DP members,

A LOGO WAS DESIGNED FOR THIS MEMBER AND I SENT MANY ALTERNATIVES WITH IT.
WAS TOLD HE DID NOT WANT TO GO AHEAD WITH THEM. (PAY FOR THEM)

DAYS LATER THE LOGO IS ON HIS SITE!!!

CAN SOMEONE ADVISE ME PLEASE AS I AM NEW TO DP.

I DESIGNED THEM AT A LOW RES QUALITY SO THAT IF THEY WERE MADE TO BE MADE LARGER THEY WOULD LOSE QUALITY, WHICH HAS HAPPEND ON HIS SITE....www.flirtcampus.com.

1. I do not like to be ripped off.
2. At the moment I am designing at such a low cost at the minute anyway I cannot believe how cheap some people are, I am discusted.

It's never good that happened. Be sure to give the person a negative iTrader, it will show others how they scammed you.

 

If i do this will it not give them the chance to just give me one also? (like ebay)

 

I'm not sure if they can give it back, but I would do it anyways because people need to know.

Its always best to watermark you work prior to receiving payment. As you can see the scammer would rather a pixelated logo to save a few bucks. Pathetic.

 

Yes, watermark your logos and designs before sending them. If you have a watermark over your image, they won't scam you. They will either pay your price or won't use it at all. Also, always ask for 50% no matter what the price is. If the client denies, don't work with them, they may be suspicious.

Indiabulls had a logo from me...Told me he did not think it was suitable and that he was not going to pay me and then a couple of days it was on is site lol.

I was doing the design for next to nothing anyway!

Now he has put another one up which looks great :-D
