Hi All, Can anyone gimme the list of free directories where my site can be indexed by search engines quickly(within a week or two). Are there any simple tricks to increase rankings within couple of weeks. please let me know as i am new to seo. Thanks, y
Just try put links on social bookmarking sites, they are very fast ,you should see your site indexed within a week max. But this should be a SEO FRIENDLY one if you know what I mean, cos some of the scuttle sites gave you a "nofollow" attribute, that kind of link is useless for you. Directories are very weak in that matter, you can submit your site and never see them indexed, but anyway it`s depending on strenght of that directory too, you should look on directories often visited by google bot and those wich give you direct links.
If you want fast indexing then try to get a link in a post on a frequently updated blog. http://www.directorytally.com/ has a good free list of directories.
