Need Joomla Mentor

I have a project that I am working on for a friend. I am not getting paid for this website but I need some help.

I would like to be able to talk over the phone to this person. I will call you so the charge will be on me. I have a basic understanding of Joomla but I have a question about how I have set things up with this site and need a little direction.

If you could help me out over the phone, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance!

    Clint

hmm.. if you're in Indonesia, i think i can do it for you, because i'm in indonesia, offcourse your phone cost will be expensive.. but, i think it will be better if you buy some books about joomla, download joomla ebooks, or submit your questions to joomla forum

First of all thanks for the replies. ;)

I used a template and when I installed Joomla, I left all articles the way they are since I don't know Joomla well.

    1. Well, I changed the links and the articles the links pointed to. If I click any link other than the home link in the main menu, I lose all of my other menus.

You can see the menu here.

    2. I would like to remove "Welcome to AESTfire.com" thats on the main page. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have looked many places.

    3. ***FIXED***

    4. Where can I change the Copyright © 2009 --- area at the bottom left? **I just thought this may be in the footer** Working on this now.

    5. Is there a place to change the time/date submitted globally? I can only change that by going into each article.

    6. Does anyone know a great slideshow tool?

    7. I don't really like the photo gallery offered by joomla. What else is out there that is nicer?

    8. I have a gallery installed as a plug-in and would like to place a link in the main menu and make it point to the photgallery.

I think that will cover everything at the moment, until my next wall.

Thanks again for replying. I really appreciate it! :)

Just go to the module manager and click on the module you want to display on all pages.

then check on Menu Assignment option what have you chosen then this issue will be fixed

If it is a content plugin then publish an article and link that article to a menu
