My board was recently taken off line because I am "draining a lot of resources from my shared hosting." My database is 430 MB and this is the problem. Is is "too large" according to my hosting company. What am I to do or what should i do? This is the message I got What can I do to optimize this or maybe solve my problem? Should I get better hosting?
The problem, is most hosts don't create enough room in the database partition to accomodate large databases like yours. Most people don't need it How much bandwidth are you using? And how many concurrent visitors? What's your budget.? I might be able to help you out as we have alot of clients with large databases, so we have the room.
Bandwidth is at 20,000 MB (average) monthly Concurrent visitors is about 20 on a good day. I do, however, get a ton of guests and I have guest replies enabled. So a lot of my guests are replying, and staying browsing the forum, but not with user names. Well, the budget is is fine, but already got hosting that accommodated my issues. I'm hoping they didn't tell me that just to get my business. I'll keep you in mind if hosting does not work with the new host. Where is your hosting link
