hi, i am in the process of setting up a bunch of sites which i think are designed quite well in regards to SEO. Since i am BROKE i cant afford spending one penny....and can only focus on affiliate marketing because this is free. I read some of the known (cough) ebooks and strategies - i have GREAT ideas for niche markets and i already put some sites on domains and have more to go. I am signed up at CJ. Clickbank, DR, amazon, adwords, etc..etc.. I manually submitted a bit one some directories. I need help how to get more traffic...i cant pay for clicks...it must be free. I am doing the usual already to either write on various forums and promote my site(s).....one site i try to get a forum running and more dynamic content. How can i promote my sites/products (right now mainly amazon affiliate stuff)...recent directory listings/services etc ? thanks !

If you're sites are worth visiting you might be able to trade links with other quality sites and recieve some traffic through that. It takes alot of hard work to get traffic if your site's aren't usefull.

Organic search engine traffic is always the best and it's free. If you can get to the top of some keywords, then you will find other sites linking to your without asking. A lot of people view top SE ranks as a trusted site, so they will link to you on their sites. The bad thing is that a lot of people will get top ranks for non competitive words and then assume their are an SEO expert. You will see a lot of people in these forums asking why their SEO clients are doing so bad. They ask a lot of simple questions that are like SEO 101 stuff, so I don't see why they even have SEO clients with out fundamentals. I've done well for some things, but I would say I only know about 10% of what I could know about SEO.
