Hey! I am listening of mutual funds investment everywhere from friends to colleagues. I am getting interested in doing some investment myself. Where can I found regular newsletters to learn about best mutual funds and fund managers? I am thinking of subscribing an authenticated publisher. All suggestions are welcome.

I have done a significant amount of research on investing. I lean toward conservative long term investments and therefore primarily invest in index funds which are a type of mutual fund. A really great website that I highly recommend you read is http://www.fundadvice.com. The Motley Fool (http://www.fool.com) is also good but they heavily promote their own products.

There are a number of websites that provide good mutual fund information. I use fundmojo.com myself. It has helped me to achieve good return. It is not perfect, but a good resource site to check out. Here is the url:

    Best of luck.

You could also talk to a financial advisor, they'll show you the thousands of different ones that exist and help you get into them.

You may want to take a look at ETF's (Exchange Traded Fund) instead though. They are like mutual funds but are traded on the stock exchange like a regular stock. They also benefit from less fees than a mutual fund.

Tough times for mutual funds right now. The market as a whole is in a downward trend, that means mutual funds typically go down too becuase they are diversified. But never the less, I like using yahoo finance the best.
