Need Image Advice

    Is there a free program out there that I can use to make an image back ground transparent

    Check out IrfanView at http://www.irfanview.com/ - this is what I use to create truly transparent PNGs for my iPhone loading screen - open image, save as PNG and choose transparent color in the dialogue box that follows.

    Make something transparent, you can use any vector programs like photoshop, GIMP, Paint Pro Shop, etc.. to render the image, google for "Render Image"
