    I did figure the problem out.
    IE6 is a non-standards compliant piece of horse sh1+. ;)

    That's not entirely true. IE 6 is mostly standards compliant. It just needs some help in certain areas is all.

    Unlike IE7 which is very nice, much closer to FF and Opera.
    It is aggravating that the worst browser in terms of standards support is the most popular.
    The world is a weird random place.

    I haven't had much trouble getting IE 6 to bend to my will the past year or so. I've just had to change my coding habits a lot is all.
