Hi, im working on a site for school, and me and my partner have run out of ideas....got a basic home page and forum but need some other ideas to try and incorporate into the site....let me know what you think i could do
Add a widget with updates on the news and weather? Or something related to that. Possibly a shoutbox for quicker messages? It'd help if we knew what your website was about. Or is it trully a school site? You may want to add a calendar and phone directory if it's a school site.

Nice idea. I'd add a confession script. Kind of a like a like a twitter style script. Where people can post just a few lines about something that made their day bad. And since it's a place to go cry you might provide an alternative to crying. How about some fun pictures and jokes that'll cheer up the audience? Possibly make it anonymous?
In your case, people tend to go to that site to either 1) express their feelings so a shout box or a confession script (anonymouse setup) to let people "let loose" and or 2) find ways to feel better. Are you sure a black theme is good for this subject?
How about a class calendar where teachers can post homework assignments, field trips, etc. so parents and students can login and see what they need to do? Dave
This site is looking great, i really like the design etc. If its a place for people to complain, let out their feelings etc, you have to add some type of message board (not forum, shoutbox/bulletin etc type) or confessions thing like the people above have said. Seems like a cool site overall though, and a good concept too.. keep up the good work!
