One of my URLs that I want to develop is http://www.fast-weight-loss-tips.com and I don't know which way I should go with it. Another DP member through together a WP theme for me and installed it but I'm not sure what the most effective way would be to layout this site. I was originally going to use WP and right articles like my blog and try and do more affiliate promotion on this site with some adsense but I don't want to have to change everything up down the road because I went the wrong way. Any ideas?
If you add adsense and affiliate program that will be a mistake ! You have to decide what exactly you need - a few cents from adsense or thousands $ from affiliate programs. P.S. I have one good domain for affiliate site, let me know(PM) if u r interested.
Because I haven't decided if I want to use wordpress or something else. I have content that I can rewrite from my blog for it. That's what I'm looking for is some feedback on how I should structure it. Static html, WP, etc.
That's what I figured. Adsense just seams ridiculously hard to make money on. I just don't know enough about website design to know which type of design is best for affiliate marketing.
hey DrKNutrition, I just took a look at your site. You need to work on SEO for your site. You can make some serious improvements and gather search engine traffic easily. You also want to add some quality content. I would stick around 500 words minimum, not 2-4 sentences. Once you add some good content, add an opt-in option box for rss and email notifications. Maybe even re-design the site with some better colors. If you are going to use videos, use a really hot chick to talk. That blond women on the video was pretty nice looking, use her constantly to talk and not just stand there. Let me know if this helped.
U have good domain name,try to post reviews of some famous weight loss products,submit articles on ezine and link back,do some basic SEO.
Wordpress is a good way to build an efficient landing page and more people tend to use it to promote their affiliate programs... Just make sure you have good content in the blog and make sure that you update on a regular basis...Wp is SEO friendly but you need to put some effort as well... Submit it to a few quality directories,do some article marketing,do soem link exchange,give some link love and start promoting a few affiliate offers relevant to the subject... Of course don't forget to cloak your affiliate links so as to make them more appealing... That's all for starters
