Hi guys, As some of you know, I have a network of websites that range from free file upload website to proxies and the like. At the moment I have nearly finished making my next website to add to the network which is a place for you to ask web hosts for their best price on the exact hosting specs that you want. I need ideas for a field to branch out into. Exactly what kind of websites are you interested in developing? Any niche in particular or are you open to most things?
Open to most things. But I need someone to give me an idea of what to make to add to my network. Something simple that will attract loads of use and that I can provide free to you to use.
How about a chat room for webmasters? It could be difficult to moderate, but if there were no problems then it would be a brilliant resource to go into if you needed a question answered.
...either what kiteguy said...or how about starting a service...wherein you invite senior webmasters.. and you make them interact with the junior ones out there... share their experiences, give them advice - solve their problems, etc.
Any more ideas? Thanks for those ideas I like them and I might act on them. I like the idea of letting junior webmasters being able to ask questions and senior webmasters to reply. Only thing is there are lots of websites like that already....
How about tapping into a completely new niche and making a whole resource site for it. There are many sports that I can think of immediately, for example, Cable-Wakeboarding. You could make a site which is a complete resource for people who wakeboard on cables. It could include a forum, reviews of locations, equipment reviews, anything related. You could even make an online magazine for it... This way your site will be one of the first major sites in that sport, and as the sport grows, providing you've done your SEO work, your site will grow with the sport. Btw, Cable Wakeboarding was just an example...
Social Networks are the new IT. They make great money with ads and are always popular. If you don't know PHP, then there are several free scripts out there.
heres a really good idea, I don't think anyone has done this yet, so it has A LOT of potential. Alright, clear you mind and then picture this.. A website with like, women who aren't clothed. It's such a good idea, and men would LOVE it. you can like put videos of men and women making out and have sex. guys would LOVE it, and i think the idea has a lot of potential. it's be really unique to.

Make a webmasters forums for only buy sell and trade purpose. then later on turn it to marketplace jus like sitepoint, when it will be very much famous.
Free idea: a site where users upload videos and anyone can watch afterwards. Ok, i'll keep the rest to myself
For that you must have to learn SEO...with seo you can easily make any site and promote it and make it very famous...It's my thinking..If other have better or different ideas than tell me..
