I need help putting up another webmaster forum on the net. The name of the forum is brilliant as commented by several people. Its short and catchy. I have put a lot of thinking into it deciding the name of the domain.

    It is digseo.com.

What do you thinnk guys/gals about the name. Do you like it ??

I need help with choosing forum script, categories, how to monetise it and how to find modeators who will help for fee at the moment, as obviously there is no revenue for now.

    TY

You mean basically do all the work for you? Search around the forums, there are plenty of threads that explain how to monetize and get traffic to your website.

LOL I didn't mean that. I am just looking for suggestions from sucessful forum masters. How did they put up their forums? what things I should take care of with above questions.

Its not difficult setting up a forum. There are plenty of forum scripts out there and plenty of failed forums too.

I have passion for this forum and I don't want to fail. I want help putting my first steps in right direction.

Developing a forum requires lots of time and effort and an equal amount of self-belief.

After doing the basic installation, you would need to attract lots of members, initially by paying several of them for posting and building the content.
Having done that, organize contests to induce people to remain active and do lots of promotion of the same on the internet, especially on similar high trafficked forums! :)

You surely have a good domain name...to set the ball rolling!

If your serious about it then use vbulletin script.

But to be honest if your thinking of starting a webmaster forum and cant even think of categories are you really going into the correct subject.

Why would you want to start a webmaster forum when there are already so many good ones? Just look at all of these google results.
