I'm on my second incarnation of my homepage, and its' sort of dull, to be honest. I'm trying to get one design that is consistent, and I think I've decided on the on one my blog, a simple, clean design. Frugality and simple living go hand in hand, so I wanted it to be simple, and green (as you can see). My homepage, on the other hand, is based on a template and stored on Google pages. I'm thinking of doing it on Blogger, and I don't want to vary from the three column, clean interface much, but I need to do something so I can update it regularly to get some Google Love. The present one is pretty static. Do you think that a magazine type style, with the two smaller columns on the right side, would not be too very different from the rest of the site? Or maybe just use the columns like a magazine as is, with snippets instead of links? That way, I could change them out a little a few times a week, and the page rank for the start page might get better. Please check it out and tell me what you think. TIA. The link is in my sig.
